4-Hour Learner's License/Florida First Time Driver Course
This Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) Course is a state approved course, and required of all first time drivers in Florida. For teen drivers, you must take this course before a restricted (learner's) permit can be issued.
This course meets the requirements of Florida's Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Course and is approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), Bureau of Driver Education and DUI Programs, Tallahassee, Florida.
We offer this Florida DHSMV-authorized DATE course 100% online or in class to meet your TLSAE permit requirements. This course is equivalent to the Drug, Alcohol, Traffic Awareness (DATA) Florida first time driver course. Our course reviews basic traffic rules and provides information on the dangers and penalties of drug and alcohol use in accordance with Florida Statute 322.095.
